Rumours telling that Evgeny Novikov had stopped his rally career were spread in all over the world instantly. But the rally fans didn't despair and kept on believing that a WRC car with the Russian tricoloured flag on a board would come back to the roads of the World Championship.

"I did hope to visit some rounds of the WRC wearing a T-shirt with Novikov's sign and holding the Russian flag...It's so pity. I feel that it will take 10 years when someone from Russia will participate in the WRC..." - wrote one of Novikov' fan in a social network. 

But the saddest person was the main fan of Evgeny - a man who helped him in all his performances during the WRC rounds.

So, in 2011 Evgeny Novikov will re-start in the World Rally Championship driving the newest World Rally Car with 1.6 litre engine.

Soon the contract will be signed between the driver and the team and the participation programme will be done as well. Follow the news on our web-site...
